This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are unencumbered and will need your contribution as an applied science leader to make it a world class science and engineering center with the focus on excellence.

As an Architect, you will drive the scientific vision for Healthcare AI systems. As an applied science leader, in this highly strategic role, you will drive the design, development, and integration of state-of-the-art AI solutions into healthcare products. The role requires tackling hard, previously unsolved, highly impactful problems while balancing rapid innovation. You should be comfortable driving decisions with incomplete information and solutions in ambiguous problem spaces. You'll work closely with senior technical leaders within the org and across Oracle Health & AI. We're looking for scientists who can maintain high standards while moving quickly, prioritizing both rapid experimentation and responsible AI development to deliver measurable customer impact.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing scalable AI solutions for production. Deep technical expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Generative AI. Practical experience with the latest technologies in LLM and generative AI Hands-on experience with emerging LLM frameworks and Agentic AI. Proven experience in designing data collection and systematic evaluation necessary for developing and maintaining production AI systems. Commitment to staying up-to-date with the field and applying academic advances to solve complex business problems, and bringing them into production. Strong publication record, including as a lead author or reviewer, in top-tier journals or conferences. Experience leading and mentoring teams of scientists and engineers

 

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of healthcare and experience delivering healthcare AI models are a significant plus. Familiarity and experience with the latest advancements in computer vision and multimodal modeling is a plus.

 

Education

PhD Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Linguistics or a related field with a focus in Machin Learning and Deep Learning with 8+ years relevant experience is preferred but not a must Masters or Bachelor’s in related field with 10+ years relevant experience
