This role plays a critical part in the company’s financial operations by ensuring cash flow and resolving discrepancies with customer accounts. **Key Responsibilities:** **Invoice Management:** + Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner. + Ensure invoices comply with company policies and contractual agreements. **Payment Collection:** + Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments. + Follow up with customers via phone calls, emails, or letters to ensure timely payment. + Process payments received and update customer accounts accordingly. **Account Reconciliation:** + Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies or disputes. + Investigate and resolve billing issues or payment discrepancies. **Reporting:** + Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging reports and outstanding balances. + Provide insights and recommendations to management regarding collections and cash flow. **Customer Service:** + Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payment issues. + Maintain positive relationships with customers while ensuring compliance with payment terms. **Compliance and Documentation:** + Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. + Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts receivable transactions. **Collaboration:** + Work closely with other departments, such as sales, customer service, and accounting, to resolve issues and improve processes. + Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and information. **Qualifications:** + **Experience:** + Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar role. + Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems + **Skills:** + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively. + **Knowledge:** + Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial regulations. **Key Competencies:** + Customer-focused attitude. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + High level of integrity and confidentiality. + Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data. **Work Environment:** This role typically operates from the Aston site, with remote work depending on company policies.
