Robert Half is working with a science and technology company who is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and optimize the AR operations for their North America region. This role, based in DeForest, Wisconsin, offers the opportunity to oversee critical financial processes, ensure compliance, and drive effective cash collection strategies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities and thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage all aspects of accounts receivable operations to ensure timely and accurate cash collection. • Oversee billing functions, cash applications, and the preparation of aging reports. • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of AR processes. • Approve and monitor credit limits to ensure alignment with company policies. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve credit and collections issues. • Drive compliance with financial controls and regulatory requirements within the AR function. • Provide leadership and guidance to the AR team, fostering growth and development. • Analyze and report on key performance metrics related to collections and accounts receivable. • Ensure consistent application of credit policies across the business units. • Address escalated accounts and manage complex financial disputes with customers. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable management or a related financial role. • Proven expertise in collections, credit approvals, and cash application processes. • Strong knowledge of billing functions and aging reports. • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop teams. • Proficiency in analyzing financial data and generating performance reports. • Solid understanding of credit and collections policies and practices. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
