This position supports the Army Prepositioned Stocks – 4 Program located in Camp Carroll, Korea. The Stock Clerk will comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, local safety policies, and KBR’s Zero Harm program.

Job Summary

The Stock Clerk receives, stores, and issues equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, or tools, and compiles stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse or storage yard. The Stock Clerk sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice, examines stock to verify conformance to specifications, stores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type of material, fills orders or issues supplies from stock, prepares periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock, and requisitions articles to fill incoming orders. The Stock Clerk also compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments, may mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, may distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued, may make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock, and may cut stock to site to fill order.  Packs cargo containers, pallets and intermediate packs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to work from technical manuals, work instructions and work orders.

Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.   

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport.

Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.

Favorable adjudication of an NACI background check.

Ability to provide documentation to qualify as US EXPAT Invited Contractor Status and SOFA Visa IAW USFK 700-19 Regulation.

High School/GED plus 2-3 years of related work experience.

In lieu of formal course work, a combination of college credits, on-the-job training, other formalized training, or experience may be considered.

Ability to work from technical manuals, work instructions and work orders.

Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.

Must be able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment, heat and humidity.

Ability to lift 50 pounds to waist level and 35 pounds to shoulder height.

Required to pass initial and periodic medical screening.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Completion of the basic warehousing course, equivalent from a military service-related Advanced Individual Training or certification from a vocational school with a focus in Material Accounting/Inventory Methods preferred.
