We will take informal leadership experience into consideration.** **Key Responsibilities:** + **Leadership:** Oversee and guide inpatient APRN, RN, and LPN wound and ostomy caregivers across both domestic and international locations. + **Clinical Excellence:** Develop, implement, educate, and maintain WOC (Wound Ostomy Continence) clinical standards to ensure the highest quality of nursing care. + **Standardization:** Lead the Enterprise Wound Affinity to align standards of practice across the entire organization. + **Innovation:** Investigate and integrate best practices into clinical operations. + **Quality Improvement:** Develop and implement quality initiatives, policies, and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of inpatient and outpatient nursing care. + **Direct Patient Care:** Provide exceptional nursing care to patients requiring WOC services, adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols. + **Other Duties as Assigned** **​** **Education:** + Graduate of an accredited APRN program. **Languages:** + English, written and spoken. **Certifications:** + Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. + Wound Ostomy Continence Certification through the WOCNCB. + Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required. + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required based on assigned department. **Complexity of Work:** + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + Demonstrated competency and ability to perform advanced assessment, diagnosis, treatment plan development, and invasive procedures as per clinical privileges. + Ability to interact effectively with all members of the institute, department, hospital and other caregivers at all levels. + Ability to coach and mentor for developmental and performance outcomes and build a culture of continuous improvement. + Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in stressful situations. **Work Experience:** + Minimum of three years' experience as an Advanced Practice Provider. + Leadership experience is preferred.
