An individual in this position will work to keep all equipment in top running condition through an effective preventative maintenance program. This position is Monday to Friday. **What you will do...** + Follow a consistent and regular schedule to perform various types of maintenance on heavy equipment, construction equipment and various pieces of machinery. + Conduct oil changes, lubrication of equipment, tire replacements, hose repairs, battery replacements and assorted services. + Operate and test equipment. + Maintain work area in a clean and organized manner. + Produce timely and detailed service reports. + Follow all company’s filed procedures and protocols. + Build positive relationships with customers. + Perform additional duties as assigned. + You will be responsible for repairs and general maintenance to all rental equipment and shop equipment in accordance with Herc Rentals quality and efficiency standards. **Conditions of Employment** + **Must be currently enrolled in the Alberta Heavy Duty Equipment Technician Apprenticeship Program or have your HET ticket.** + Ability to work constructively under pressure. + Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment + Demonstrates initiative and strong organizational skills. + Exceptional communication skills while maintaining a professional customer service focused attitude. + Valid driver’s license + A recent driver’s abstract will be required. **Req #:** 65723 **Pay Range:** $32.00-$42.00 per hour depending on apprenticeship level Please be advised that the actual salary offered for any position is subject to the company's sole discretion and may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, location, and overall fit for the role.
