The Bank’s Collateral Evaluation Services Group (CESG) is responsible for overseeing and administering real estate collateral due diligence—including appraisal, environmental, and flood assessments—for the US Region. CESG ensures that all practices align with regulatory requirements and the Bank’s risk management framework. The group serves as a center of excellence, offering subject matter expertise and professional guidance to business lines regarding the procurement and review of real estate appraisal, environmental, and flood reports.
**What You’ll Be Doing**
Commercial Credit Risk Manager II is accountable for supporting the Head of Collateral Evaluation Services Group (CESG) in the following activities:
+ Assist in managing the appraisal due diligence process for the US Region. Servicing CIBC Bank USA and CIBC, Inc. in complying with regulatory-, audit- and compliance-approved processes.
+ Overseeing the timely procurement and review of commercial and residential real estate appraisals. Help ensure regulatory compliance and Appraisal Independence.
+ Provide guidance to the lines of business with respect to all real estate valuation and environmental issues.
+ Assist in managing and maintaining third-party appraisal, valuation, environmental, and review vendors.
+ Assist in managing CESG's systems and supporting software
+ Manage the organization of 1,000’s of Approved Appraisers by geographic competency for the RFP process

_At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of_ **_$110,000 - $130,000_** _for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
