As an Applied AI/ML Lead within the Applied AI/ML team, you design and deliver trusted, scalable AI solutions that advance our business objectives. You partner closely with cross-functional teams and use inclusive, collaborative practices to turn complex data into actionable outcomes. This role is based in Bengaluru with a 2pm–11pm IST schedule to support business needs. 

Job responsibilities

Lead end-to-end applied AI/ML solution design to solve complex business problemsAnalyze large structured and unstructured datasets to uncover trends and actionable insightsSelect and optimize algorithms and model architectures for diverse business use casesBuild and deploy prototypes and production-grade models and applications that deliver business valueCommunicate findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders through clear, concise presentationsPartner across business, technology, and compliance teams to integrate AI/ML into workflows and drive adoptionMentor and manage team members to foster innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or Economics9+ years of applied machine learning and data science experience delivering production-grade solutionsExpertise in Python and PySpark with proven ability to build production-ready analytical applicationsExperience analyzing very large structured and unstructured datasets using quantitative and statistical methodsHands-on experience developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in enterprise environmentsMinimum 2 years of people management experience (hiring, mentoring, performance management)Demonstrated experience presenting analytical findings to senior stakeholders and communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Experience with Agentic AI and Generative AI frameworks and applicationsExperience integrating AI/ML models into business workflows and production ecosystemsProven ability to act as a trusted advisor on analytics, AI/ML, and emerging technologiesStrong project management skills with delivery under tight timelines
