HOW AN APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Developer capable of working within a software development team to provide accessible front end design modifications.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Experience developing medium to large-scale applications; testing, linting, and adherence to coding/web standards.Hands-on experience with at least one: React, Vue. Vue is preferred.Solid understanding of usability and accessibility standards including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)Proven experience of practice knowledge working in Agile Projects from user stories and backlog management to acceptance criteria.Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavascriptFundamental experience with design principles, and component library creationComfortable with Git and the Command LineComfortable working in the Browser ecosystem, including concepts like the DOM and CSS's cascadeComfortable identifying, troubleshooting, and fixing UX problems (e.g. responsiveness, theming, etc.)Comfortable working in and defining common UI grid layoutsImplement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenanceDevelop and adhere to best-practices for developing applicationsContinuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaborationAbility to solve problems creatively and effectivelyExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

DESIRED SKILLS:

Documented Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.).Demonstrated experience with developing in Ruby/Ruby on Rails;
