Applications & Design Engineer

Design Engineer responsible for leading engineering projects, executing design reviews, and supporting CAE software initiatives through technical expertise and customer collaboration.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

4–6 years of direct experience in turbomachinery component design and CFD analysis

Willingness to travel globally up to 20%

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with specialized Agile CAE software suites

Experience with Ansys and/or Cadence CFD tools (or other CFD tools)

Proficiency in meanline and 3D design software, including programming and scripting

Experience collaborating with software developers to enhance product usability

Job Responsibilities:

Lead engineering design projects aligned with software sales contracts

Conduct design reviews and provide improvement recommendations using proprietary CAE tools

Execute benchmark studies to demonstrate CAE software value to prospective clients

Maintain validated design cases to support software development and testing

Support and deliver customer training workshops and technical presentations

Assist Sales team with technical demonstrations for new customer acquisition

Create technical content such as FAQs, best practices, and blog posts

Contribute to software documentation and product enhancement efforts

Perform additional engineering tasks as assigned by management



Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
