Application Support Engineer-DVT

Key Responsibilities:

 

·       The primary focus  is to support the sale and adoption of the Questa verification solution. As a Verification Applications Engineer, you will drive the effort to enable the verification methodology and solution for customers using Questa verification tools, with a strong emphasis on resolving customer technical issues

·       Providing professional training, and actively introducing and promoting tool features to enhance customer experience.

·       You must possess in-depth knowledge of RTL design, verification, and power analysis.

·       You will work directly with customers to assist in deploying verification tools and methodologies, quickly diagnose and resolve technical challenges, design and deliver customized technical training, and showcase tool advantages while promoting best practices.

·       We design the next-generation processes and models needed to manufacture those chips, enabling our customers to optimize chips for power, cost, and performance—eliminating months off their project schedules.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

·       Skills/Experience Requirements:

·       Strong team player with excellent communication skills.

·       In-depth knowledge of RTL coding, chip design experience, or verification environment architecture experience, with an understanding of the “big picture” at the ASIC architectural and system level, and hands-on block/SoC verification experience.

·       Testbench creation and verification regression testing.

·       Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Tcl, CSH, BASH, or Makefile.

·       Fluent in English reading and writing (especially technical specifications).

Nice to Have:

·       Experience with UVM verification or implementation.

·       Experience with UPF verification or implementation.

·       Familiarity with one of the following tools: Questa, Visualizer
