Job title: Digital Pathology Application Specialist - South Italy
About the opportunity: Epredia’s Digital Pathology sales team is expanding. We are looking for an Application Specialist to cover South Italy. As an Application Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping how customers experience our Digital Pathology solutions. You will partner closely with the sales team to drive adoption, showcase the value of our technologies and support customers throughout their journey. You will act as a trusted expert who guides users from first demonstrations to confident daily operation. You will help translate customer needs into impactful solutions while representing Epredia across key scientific and industry events.
This is a dynamic role for someone who enjoys blending technical expertise with hands‑on customer engagement.
What You Will Do:
+ Develop growth strategies for key accounts in close collaboration with the Italy Epredia sales team and sales management.
+ Lead customer product demonstrations, site visits and installation processes while ensuring effective training for end users.
+ Support the sales organization in positioning Epredia solutions to meet performance, workflow and budget expectations.
+ Deliver timely after-sales support, including troubleshooting, technical guidance and coordination with Tech Support and Service teams.
+ Contribute to tender preparation and customer quotations by providing technical insights and commercial expertise to increase win rates.
+ Represent Epredia at national and international congresses, workshops and exhibitions, conducting presentations and customer training sessions
What You Will Need:
+ Master’s degree in Laboratory Medicine, Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline.
+ Sound knowledge of Digital Pathology, AI applications in Pathology and standard Anatomic Pathology laboratory workflows is essential
+ Previous experience in a comparable role or hands‑on experience in an Anatomic Pathology laboratory is required.
+ Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
+ Valid driving licence.
+ Excellent command of both Italian and English, written and spoken.
+ Willingness to travel extensively with approximately 80 percent of the time spent across Central and Southern Italy, in addition to national and international trips.
+ Ability to effectively engage all stakeholders throughout the sales cycle, including Pathologists, Biomedical Engineers and administrative teams, supported by strong presentation skills for both technical and commercial topics.
+ High adaptability in a fast‑changing environment, with strong teamwork, influence and motivation skills, combined with excellent self‑organization, communication, prioritization and planning capabilities.
