Application Specialist Thailand provides technical application training, support and trouble shouting for pre-sales and post-sales work, to dealer’s operations in Thailand for Diagnostics products. This position is part of the Commercial department located in Bangkok, Thailand and will be working as remote.

You will be a part of the Commercial team and report to the Managing Director, SEA responsible for Thailand market. If you thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and want to work to build a world-class Commercial organization—read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Leading the tech. support team to provide effective pre-sales and post-sales application support as well as delivering training to customers and internal associates.

Effectively deploying technical support resources to provide application support to direct customers and dealers 

Be the local expert in developing and implementing application capacity, deploying the technical support resources to support for business growth in Thailand.

Working closely with the Regional Application Team to get technical updates and execute application activities, information, trouble shouting experience and etc.

Be the regional point person facilitating the disseminating of technical application information for Thailand and bridging up information exchange between regional office and local dealer.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Education – Degree or equivalent in Med Tech or Science related subject

Experience – At least 5 years’ technical application experience in IVD / LifeSciences markets. Tech support experience is a definite asset.

Required Skill – Well versed with market dynamics in Thailand with established track record of initializing and implementing successful marketing strategies. Good strategic thinkers without losing sight on details and process. Ability to engage and influence team members cross functional peers, customers and dealers. Possess strong language proficiency in English.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Demonstrate top tier communication skills; strong interpersonal and customer handling skills and provide guidance or coaching within the team, customers and across functional groups.
