Application Software Engineer Requisition ID: 46106 Job Location(s): Shanghai, CNHaiyan, CN Employment Type: Full Time Segment: Danfoss Power Solutions Segment Job Function: R&D, Technology and Engineering Work Location Type: On-site **The Impact You'll Make** Applies software engineering principles, education, and relevant technologies to design and support divisional products and their applications, completing engineering tasks efficiently and within budget. **What You’ll Be Doing** + Demonstrates ability to follow and execute given development methodology. + Accomplishes the engineering design, development, modification or adaptation of divisional products in one or more of the following ways, depending on functional assignment. + Improves the functional capabilities of existing products. + Solves functional, applications or production problems. + Conceives of new features on new or existing products. + Designs new products. + Provides technical assistance to marketing, sales and service. + Assists in the preparation of brochures. + Provides technical direction to drafting, manufacturing and/or test labs. + Challenges existing approaches to development, design, application, test or manufacture of divisional products. + Develops original or innovative approaches to engineering design, cost reduction and problem solving. + Develops thorough product understanding. + Maintains updated knowlege of engineering techniques and technology relative to Danfoss products. + Understands who the customers are and their requirements, expectations and needs. + Provides value to customers by seeking and responding to customer feedback. + Evaluates situations objectively and demonstrates the ability to make timely decisions that are intended to have a positive effect on work performance. + Organizes, prioritizes and completes work assignments with quality and in a timely manner. **What We're Looking For** 1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited college or university. 2. Software programming experience is required, at least 3 years of related experience. + Be good at C programming skills, and solve complex algorithms control using C program; + Be familiar with IEC61131-3 standard, Codesys programming experience; + Familiar with the software development process, and be familiar with project management software; + Master CAN2.0B,be familiar with CANOPEN and J1939; 3. Knowledge of electrical components and embedded control systems. 4. Has fundamental knowledge of basic engineering skills and current technology. 5. Demonstrates flexibility in approach and ideas. 6. Responds positively and supports changes in procedures, process, technology, responsibility and assignments. 7. Maintains openness to development/self improvement and change. 8.
