IU Health Nurse Scholar Program Participant (IU and Ivy Tech Nursing Students Only)
The Nurse Scholar Program is designed to support and develop future registered nurses currently enrolled in nursing programs at Indiana University or Ivy Tech Community College.
Participants will:
Gain exposure to clinical environments.
Receive mentorship from experienced nursing professionals.
Prepare for a successful transition into the nursing workforce upon graduation.
Note: There is no work commitment while in school. The work commitment begins after graduation and successful completion of the NCLEX. The length of the commitment is based on the number of semesters for which scholarship funds are received.
Participants must maintain academic progress and program eligibility throughout their time in the program. Failure to do so will result in removal from the program and may require repayment of scholarship funds received.
As an IU Health Nurse Scholar, you are guaranteed an RN role upon graduation.
