Your Mission:
As an Application Engineer IV, you will play a critical role supporting Knowledge Graph (KG) systems and tools. You’ll design, develop, and maintain software that enables complex data relationships and powers essential applications. Your work will directly contribute to high-visibility programs and will require strong system integration skills, programming proficiency, and experience with advanced monitoring tools.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced technical environment and is passionate about solving challenging integration and data flow problems. You’ll work closely with both engineers and analysts to ensure operational success of KG platforms across various mission domains.You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:Experienced in developing and maintaining Java and Python-based applicationsComfortable working with large-scale data systems and search enginesKnowledgeable in systems integration and troubleshooting across hardware/software boundariesFamiliar with Agile environments and comfortable participating in sprint planning and stand-upsDetail-oriented with strong debugging and problem-solving skillsAble to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates and stakeholdersA Day in the Life Of:Maintaining and enhancing KG platforms using Vine or GENOME toolsWriting and debugging Java and Python code to support mission applicationsInvestigating Splunk logs to monitor system health and detect anomaliesBuilding and maintaining data pipelines using NiFi and ElasticSearchTroubleshooting connectivity issues between KG software and hardware systemsSupporting containerized environments using Kubernetes and DockerInterfacing with relational and non-relational databases including MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgresMust Haves:TS/SCI with Polygraph clearanceTwelve (12) years minimum experience and a High School Diploma/GED. Ten (10) years minimum experience and an Associate's Degree. Eight (8) years minimum experience and a Bachelor's Degree. Six (6) years minimum experience and a Master's Degree. Four (4) years minimum experience and a Doctorate's Degree.IAT Level 2 Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)Experience in Windows and/or LinuxHands-on experience with Vine and/or GENOME KG ToolsStrong proficiency in Java and PythonExperience using Splunk for log analysis and system monitoringFamiliarity with ElasticSearch and Apache NiFiNice to Have:Experience troubleshooting hardware/software interface issues within KG systemsHands-on experience with MongoDB, Kubernetes, and DockerBackground with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, or SybaseAbout us: We are an experienced advanced analytic development company providing Cyber solutions to current and emerging missions.
