Reporting to the Team Leader Applications, the Application Engineer Industrial is responsible for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions in alignment with manufacturer stated specifications. Creates detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions. This is a remote position within Northern France. **In this role, a typical day will look like:** + Provide product and workflow training to customers, sales representatives, and dealers for X-Rite instruments and software systems. This training may be done live at X-Rite, or on-site at customer location + Provide support to customers in person, via phone, e-mail, or other means as technology permits. This support is to assist them in trouble-shooting product and/or work-flow related problems. + Provide internal technical product support, including product training, and pre-sales technical support. + Assist the product development process by recording and providing information regarding products, needs in the market, workflows, etc. Test and help in the realization of new products or developments. **The essential requirements of the job include:** + Engineer with Bachelor's, ideally Master degree, with a major in color-related profession (graphic arts, paints, plastics, textiles, etc.) + Deep understanding of the latest IT networks, database infrastructure and cloud computing. + Fluency in French and English. Further language skills in Spanish are highly appreciated.
