The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an Application Engineer (Backend) to join our Secure the Enterprise initiative and be a key player in transforming our system security evaluation and authorization processes. We are shifting from a manual approach to a cutting-edge model that emphasizes automation, streamlined processes, continuous monitoring, and comprehensive network data gathering throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities
Develop, test, deploy, and maintain various Python-based REST endpoints, microservices, and data model management capabilities.Utilize Django and Flask frameworks to interact with data models stored in MariaDB or MongoDB.Send data in JSON format to UI front ends upon request.Provide middleware and backend support to all system applications.Qualifications
Required:
Active TS/SCI w/ PolygraphProficiency in PythonExperience with DockerSkilled in using Django or FlaskDatabase experience with MongoDB or MariaDBREST endpoint developmentUnderstanding of the microservice modelAll experience and education must be in a technical field directly related to the labor category being proposed, and all diplomas, GED certificates, and degrees must be from accredited institutions.High school Diploma/GED with a minimum of 12 years of experienceAssociate’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of experienceBachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of experienceMaster’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experienceDoctorate’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experienceDesired:

The proposed salary range for this position is:
