Job Title: Applications Engineer
Job Description
This role involves initiating and performing technical activities that lead to the development of new or improved products, processes, or technologies. The position requires qualifying new sheeting solutions with existing customer processes, creating technical literature, and conducting customer site visits. Additionally, the engineer will work with digital printing technologies and mechanical equipment to produce license plates.
Responsibilities
+ Evaluate new sheeting technologies with existing customer applications to improve processes and support product development.
+ Travel to customer sites, up to 50% of the time, to run field trials and assist customers in understanding and implementing company products.
+ Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure customer needs are met.
+ Create technical literature, prepare reports, and presentations, and communicate findings both internally and externally.
+ Train customers and internal teams on the implementation of new technology.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a relevant scientific or engineering field from an accredited institution.
+ 2 – 3 years of experience as an Application Engineer or experience with Electromechanical engineering is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
+ Digital printing experience with sheeting, printers, and inks is preferred.
+ Knowledge of process improvement methodology and effective utilization of information resources and systems.
+ Understanding of safety, health, and environmental policies.

Work Environment
The position requires working with digital printing technologies and mechanical equipment. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
