The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite, system administration across UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms, and Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N3 or higher). This role includes a short-term onsite assignment in Japan, offering valuable cross-cultural experience and professional growth. Key Responsibilities * Develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (eBS) applications based on business requirements * Perform system configuration, patching, and troubleshooting across UNIX/Linux and Windows environments * Collaborate with Japanese stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions * Participate in system testing, documentation, and deployment activities * Provide post-deployment support and issue resolution * Ensure compliance with security and operational standards * Adapt quickly to Japanese work culture and contribute effectively during the onsite assignment **Required technical and professional expertise** * JLPT N3 or higher Japanese language proficiency (verbal and written communication) * Hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (eBS) development and support * Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems * Willingness and flexibility to relocate to Japan for a short-term assignment (6 months to 2 years) * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills * Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams **Preferred technical and professional experience** * JLPT N2 or native-level Japanese proficiency * Prior experience working with Japanese clients or in Japan * Familiarity with PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports * Experience in global delivery models and multicultural environments IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
