You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business-critical applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate applications with other business systems. The Application Developer provides technical support, resolve application issues, and perform root cause analysis. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview._ **How you'll succeed** + **Programming Skills-** Develop, code and test end-to-end stack of applications. Review, analyze, and modify programming systems, including coding, testing, and debugging. Work closely with key business and technology partners to ensure that business and client impact issues are well understood and addressed. Ensure adherence to all regulatory and information security standards and policies are maintained in all aspects of the application management. + **Systems Implementation-** Participate and conduct technical design, development, and integration of cross functional, multi-platform application systems. + **Relationship Management-** Build strong relationships and partnerships with technical team members, clients, vendors and peers. Lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure problems/issues are identified and resolved. Express oneself and communicate with others verbally at an advanced level; recognizing that verbal communication is more than just language. **Who you are** + **You can demonstrate experience.** **3–5 years of hands-on experience in application development using C#** **(Backend and Frontend)** **.** Strong proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, database design, performance tuning). Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services. Leveraging Azure’s suite of services and tools. Solid understanding of software development best practices and SDLC. Proven experience with SSIS and ETL development.
