About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Data Developer to support a major enterprise data modernization initiative. This role focuses on consolidating legacy reporting systems into a centralized enterprise data warehouse (EDW), enabling improved data governance, reporting efficiency, and historical data preservation.
You’ll work closely with experienced data architects and business stakeholders to design, develop, and test ETL processes, ensuring the new data model aligns with business needs and supports high-quality reporting.
Must-Have Skills and Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server5+ years of experience in ETL development, including designing and implementing data pipelines from multiple sources into data warehouses5+ years working in data warehouse or business intelligence environments in either development or support roles5+ years of experience as an Application Developer in large-scale enterprise IT environmentsProven ability to create technical documentation, user training materials, and platform support resourcesNice-to-Haves
Experience working in public sector or similarly complex, multi-stakeholder environmentsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices3+ years of experience with unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testingExposure to data governance, data quality assurance, and legacy data migrationKey Responsibilities
Analyze and profile legacy data sources and reporting martsDesign and implement ETL processes to migrate and transform dataBuild and test dimension and fact tables using star schema modellingDevelop SQL views, stored procedures, and staging layersCollaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholdersEnsure data quality, lineage, and usability across the platformDocument processes and contribute to project close-out activitiesApplication Development Duties

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $53.30/hr.
