You will execute proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and develop solution designs and estimates for System i (AS/400) platform projects. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Design and Develop Solutions: Design and develop solutions on the System i (AS/400) environment, utilizing expertise in a wide range of AS/400 products, including RPG, COBOL/400 and new age offerings on the platform. • Execute Proof-of-Concepts: Execute proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to test and validate solution designs and identify potential issues. • Develop Solution Designs and Estimates: Develop solution designs and estimates for System i (AS/400) platform projects, ensuring effective and efficient solutions that meet business requirements. • Lead Solution Delivery: Lead the delivery of solutions on the System i (AS/400) platform, ensuring high-quality and timely results. • Optimize Solution Offerings: Optimize solution offerings on the System i (AS/400) platform, staying up-to-date with new age offerings and best practices. **Required technical and professional expertise** • System i (AS/400) Development Expertise: Experience with designing and developing solutions on the System i (AS/400) environment, utilizing a wide range of AS/400 products, including RPG, COBOL/400. • AS/400 Product Knowledge: Experience with various AS/400 products, including new age offerings on the platform, to develop effective solution designs and estimates. • Proof-of-Concept Execution: Experience executing proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to test and validate solution designs and identify potential issues on the System i (AS/400) platform. • Solution Design and Estimation: Experience developing solution designs and estimates for System i (AS/400) platform projects, ensuring effective and efficient solutions that meet business requirements. • Technical Leadership: Experience leading the delivery of solutions on the System i (AS/400) platform, ensuring high-quality and timely results.
