Job Description

The Low Voltage Panels (LVP) Application Engineering provides custom panel solutions for customer across multiple industries.

Engineers in this position will be responsible for Experience providing engineering support to customer support team to resolve any critical customer issues with different milestones. Collaborate with Sales, Commercial, Development, Manufacturing, and Technical Support to listen to our customers, understand their needs, and combine RA's technical expertise with the industry knowledge and simplify the customer experience. This includes executing Sales orders and completing electrical and mechanical design in accordance with electrical and mechanical standards, as well as providing the Bill of materials (BOM) to manufacturing.

You will report to Engineering teamlead.

Essential functions:

Lead system design by generating Bills of material, Panel layouts, Wiring diagrams, Test and Installation instructions.Review and understand customer specifications and drawings.Support active products by keeping product design, bills of material and documentation up to date.Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering and business techniques, processes and criteria to project work.Provide updates to BU partners and decision-makers on the status of projects. issue resolution.Coordinates and interacts with internal/external customers, manufacturing, test, development, and sales team as required.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronical Engineering or similar discipline.Requires a minimum of 1 year previous experience with direct customer contact and project management.Requires a minimum of 2 years previous experience with electro-mechanical and control systems.Ability to design utilizing ACAD electrical and Creo Parametric..Manage projects successfully and simultaneously.Must be available and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays to meet customer project commitments.Must have excellent conflict resolution skills.Fluent in English.Up to 5% Travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Able to gain ability to oversee complex projects with high-level quality requirements.Experience with SAP.Experience and knowledge of drive systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.Able to work with internal and external customers for business development and implementation strategies.Familiarity with standards for industrial control equipment such as UL, CSA, IEC, CE, NEMA, NEC, CEC, NFPA79.Experience in control system design, implementation, commissioning of Rockwell Automation products and/or other industrial control equipment.
