Entering this domain positions you at the heart of IBM, where growth and innovation thrive. **Your role and responsibilities** •High-Level Product Development: Draft high-level product specifications and translate them into code, ensuring attention to system integrity, feasibility, quality, security, maintainability, and modularity. •Technology Advocacy: Champion the use of appropriate technologies and define streamlined workflows to adhere to coding standards, ensuring efficient and effective development processes. •Collaborative Problem-Solving: Collaborate with teams globally to address production escalations, working closely with the reliability team to achieve timely resolutions for customer issues. •Peer Review and Collaboration: Actively participate in peer review discussions encompassing requirements, specifications, designs, code, and other artifacts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. **Required technical and professional expertise** * 8+ years of experience in IBM AIOps/Observability platform development and configuration * Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in IBM CP4AIOps: o Probe Rules Development (Netcool/Omnibus or Cloud Pak-based) o Python scripting/Java for Topolgy Mediation, including creating dynamic and static templates for topology ingestion o Impact Policy Design and Modeling o IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps Configuration o OpenShift Administration and Security * Experience with tools like Netcool Event Manager, Kafka, AIOps Topology * Proficiency in Shell scripting, and automation (e.g., Ansible, Python). * Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across large-scale hybrid environments.
