Application Configuration Specialist, Health & Benefits

Our Health and Benefits business helps large and mid-size clients control health and welfare plan costs, improve health outcomes, and promote employee engagement through broad-based, state-of-the-art interventions. We provide solutions encompassing creative plan design, vendor evaluation and management, pricing and funding strategies, data analytics, valuation support, legal compliance, and governance strategies. We also provide Specialty consulting services, including clinical/health management program design, pharmacy solutions, disability/absence management strategies, and claims audit services. 

As an Application Configuration Specialist within our Health and Benefits (H&B) team, you will be responsible for setting up and administering our core broking applications to support our colleagues' day-to-day activities and requirements. You will be the subject matter expert in the setup and administration of our systems, fulfilling various requests from colleagues in the local country, and assisting with multiple deployment projects. This role also involves working within a global or regional project team, analysing requirements and data, designing your configuration approach, preparing and managing your project tasks, configuring your client organisations, product rules, and rates, customising the user interface and system notifications, carrying out and supporting unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, preparing and provisioning data and successfully launching your projects.

The Role

Systems Configuration Work with local country health & benefits operations and project teams to implement new processes within our broking platforms. Specific duties will include: Client database management and maintenance Creation and maintenance of workflow management functionality Creation of data collection surveys to support data gathering in business processes Work with the country and process teams on possible improvements in our broking tools Systems Management and Documentation Issues and Resolutions Management for Benefits Engine and other applications across all countries Work with colleagues to create and update relevant training materials for local implementations Become a local expert user Ensure deadlines and targets/service level agreements are met through effective planning Assist in more complex / project work when required Communication and Change Management Work with H&B and Technology teams to develop and roll out email announcements, teasers, and other communication collaterals Excellence Contribute to improving the tools and processes and providing solutions to meet the country and process teams' operational efficiency needs Manage and triage multiple incoming priorities effectively by understanding client needs and meeting standard service level agreements  Ensure all documentation and deliverables are securely managed and saved on appropriate internal country management sites (e.g., TCT)

In addition to this, you will:

Attend training, meetings and/other educational events to increase understanding of trends and developments in the market Receive training from experienced colleagues and assist in reviewing business needs  Comply with internal excellence and compliance requirements  Work with Operations Leadership to ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs Support issue/escalation management Participate in continuous improvement activities to build stakeholders' confidence

The Requirement

At least 2 years experience working as a systems or application analyst, data configuration, and programming.Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a program with a heavy emphasis on technologyWorking within tight deadlines; balancing time across multiple, simultaneous projects that may involve different procedures and project team membersCollaboration with a global team, including taking accountability for quality and on-time delivery of own work and involving other team members when appropriateExperience in managing multiple stakeholders and working across geographic boundariesAbility to work in a team as well as independentlyEffective collaboration and problem-solving skillsAbility to accept, direct, and perform responsibilities and work assigned as a project team member in support of the overall project
