This position is responsible for delivering superior customer service while completing appliance repairs.
Responsibilities Conduct appliance diagnostics to determine root cause of issuesEstimate the costs of repairs (parts and labour)Order parts and ensure inventory supply levels are sufficiently maintainedComplete repairs on various brands and types of domestic appliancesUpdate all service documentation, describing repairs in detail and reporting identification of repaired stockAdhere to all health and safety, security, building and departmental proceduresEnsure the proper maintenance of shop tools Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent2 or more years previous experience and/or education in major appliance serviceValid driver’s license (must be able to provide a clean driving abstract)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly developed technical, investigative, and analytical skillsPunctuality and dependability a mustMust be organized and detail orientedAppliance Technician certification or willingness to obtain oneDomestic Appliance or Gas Technician 2 Certification and ODP would be considered assets Why Transglobal A flexible and comprehensive benefits package, including Health, Dental and Paramedical Services for you and your familyCompetitive remuneration package that will commensurate with experienceCareer progression potential with plenty of access to ongoing personal and professional developmentEmployee discountsA dynamic environment to showcase your leadership talents.
