We are seeking a dedicated APP healthcare professional to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide care for admitted patients.Key Position Details:
Location: Abbott Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis, MN
Setting: Large urban quaternary care center with full specialty coverage
Schedule: Full-time, 10 hour day/evening shifts
Team Composition: Part of a large hospitalist group (80+ physicians), including 6 nocturnists and 8+ APPs
Patient Volume: Provide and manage care for admitted patients

Job Description:
Our APP Hospitalist responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and communication with primary care physicians. The role involves working as part of a physician/nurse team, focusing on both acute and chronic conditions. Additionally, the candidate will serve as an educator, case manager, and consultant to staff and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Principle Responsibilities
Licensure and Certifications:
Master's degree Completion of accredited Physician Assistant program orMaster's degree completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner program Certification of CNP through ANCC or PA certification through NCCPA Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain) Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for credentialing/licensing.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $127,174 to $159,420 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).Benefit Summary
