**App Dev & Support Engineer I**
**Job Grade/Level** **–** C05
**Description:**
+ May perform one or more of the following: Analyzes business processes and performs needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
+ Interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements.
+ Writes business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development.
+ Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
+ Configures system settings and options, plans and executes acceptance testing, and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Support the Timekeeping solutions that runs on Windows OS and SQL databases
+ Assist users in resolving issues
+ Participate in performance monitoring and optimization
+ Communicate effectively with team members and customers through strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
+ Remain flexible to changes in priorities with the ability to multi-task
**Technical skillset:**
+ Experience in atleast 1 industry standard ticketing tool
+ Experience in MS SQL database fundamentals, writing SQL queries
+ Knowledge on Windows 2008, 2012R2 and 2016 Servers.
+ Knowledge on File Transmission Protocols (SFTP, FTP) and networking concepts
+ High energy, ability to multi-task, prioritize conflicting demands
+ Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
+ Knowledge on MS Office Applications (WORD, EXCEL, VISIO, MS Project)
**Qualifications** :
+ A University or college degree in a relevant discipline.
+ 2+ years’ experience in Application Support or Service Desk
