with the attending surgical intensivist the primary surgical admitting team and consultantsResponsibilities include managing multiple patients with varied critical illness comprehensive physical assessments interpretation of diagnostic results hemodynamicventilator managementdaily progress notes patientfamily education and meetingsAbility to independently perform bedside procedures such as arterial lines central lines chest tubes feeding tubes percutaneous tracheostomy and PEF tubes placementDevelop practice guidelines and clinical pathways with the support of the attending critical care surgeons to ensure high level evidence based care in the SICUDevelop and implement Surgical Critical Care educational curriculum for the surgical APP staffParticipate in the development andor
