NTT DATA Services currently seeks a **API Program Manager** to join our team in **Louisville, Kentucky.** **Role Summary** We are seeking a seasoned **API Program Manager** to spearhead our enterprise API modernization initiative. You will act as the "right hand " to the program Director, taking ownership of program execution, and executive-level reporting. The ideal candidate can operate with **minimal supervision** , translating complex technical roadmaps into sophisticated, visually compelling presentations for C-suite and senior leadership stakeholders. **Core Responsibilities** + **Program Leadership:** Independently lead the end-to-end lifecycle of API modernization, from legacy redesign to cloud-native microservices deployment. + **Technology Alignment:** Stay closely aligned with architecture and development team on API design principles (REST, GraphQL, etc.), security standards (OAuth2, OIDC), and development/validation approaches like API-first and contract testing. + **Executive Communication:** Design and maintain **visually sophisticated trackers** and slide decks. Synthesize technical progress into strategic insights, KPIs, and risk mitigation strategies for executive reviews. + **Stakeholder Management:** Serve as the primary bridge between engineering teams and senior business leadership, ensuring technical milestones align with corporate growth objectives. + **Governance & Standards:** Help enforce API governance frameworks, including versioning policies, documentation standards, and performance metrics as applicable. **Required Skills & Experience** + **API Expertise:** 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years specifically managing **API modernization or redesign programs** . + **Technical Literacy:** Deep understanding of API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, MuleSoft) and architectural patterns for modernizing legacy systems. + **Presentation Mastery:** Expert-level proficiency in creating "C-suite ready " visual assets.
