This is a full time on site position based in Kinsale.

Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient - External Manufacturing (API-EM) is part of the Eli Lilly manufacturing organisation with sites in both the US and Ireland and contract partners around the world. API EM delivers a diverse portfolio of medicines essential to our patients.
**Responsibilities** : The masters student will work with a process team at API EM who provide scientific/technical expertise within a dynamic external manufacturing environment. The team are responsible for providing technical support to achieve the reliable and compliant manufacture of API drug substance at external contract manufacturing partners to predetermined global quality standards. This team interacts daily with a wide variety of people, primarily external partners team members and site management.
The student will work in close proximity with their mentor and the wider process team to deliver process monitoring, optimization and improvements as well as delivering on technical initiatives.
This unique role is mostly computer based given we work independent of a manufacturing site. However the student will still benefit from the full Lilly experience as the role will be located at our Kinsale manufacturing site.
**Requirements**
+ Currently enrolled in a Masters program within a relevant field.
+ GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience.
+ Excellent analytical, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
+ Ability to prioritize activities.
+ Relevant industrial experience (Placements/Internship) in any of the following disciplines: API Manufacturing, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Advanced Project Management, Regulatory, Development, or Manufacturing is desired.
