AP Specialist - Vendor Maintenance

Job Description:

Join a global, mission-driven company who's looking to add an AP Specialist- Vendor Maintenance to the team! In this role, you'll be responsible for setting up new vendors and maintaining them in Oracle. Working in high volume environments (the client has over 10,000 different vendors) so you must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

Maintain communication with Vendor Supervisor to meet manager and department priorities. Assist with establishing and maintaining vendor profiles in an accounts payable database of over 10,000 vendors. Create and update vendors in accordance with accounts payable standards in a timely manner. Correspond with Corporate/Operational employees, and external vendors regarding vendor status and verification process. Communicate with Corporate/Operational employees and at times vendors, when Federal Tax ID names and or numbers do not match IRS records. Setup new vendors only when valid W9/W8 information matches the vendors' invoice. Understand the IRS 1099 requirements. Assist patient refund uploads. Correct errors in vendor database, as they are located.

Qualifications:

1+ year of Accounts Payable experienceExperience with vendor setup and maintenanceExperience working with W9s and 1099 reportingHigh school diploma or GED requiredExperience with Oracle and Excel preferredComfortable doing some manual workStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work in a nuanced, non-repetitive environmentExcellent communication and accountability

Work Environment:

Onsite Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM in Greenwood Village, CO. Team of 4, 2 in payment processing, 2 in vendor management.

Salary Range: $24-26/hr

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
