• Contract-to-hire opportunity with the goal of converting to full-time• $30-35/ hr
• Location: Berlin, CT
• Contract length: 4 months or 720 hoursJob DescriptionJoin a rapidly growing organization in the manufacturing space, projecting significant expansion over the next several years. This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact while supporting long-term organizational growth. As an AP Specialist, you will be a key player in streamlining accounts payable processes, ensuring timely vendor payments, and providing critical support as the company scales operations. This role begins as additional support but has long-term potential. Responsibilities
• Process and research accounts payable with accuracy and timeliness
• Manage HIGH VOLUME AP (300–400 invoices weekly)
• Respond promptly to vendor inquiries and critical invoices due
• Assist with backlog reduction and provide training support
• Support a growing vendor base as operations scale
• Utilize accounting systems to manage workflowQualifications and Requirements
• Strong AP processing skills; full-cycle accounting exposure is a plus but not required
• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling large volumes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt as the company grows and processes evolve
