AP Indexing Coordinator
**Job Description** **GENERAL PURPOSE** Under general supervision, perform duties necessary for indexing/imaging bills, invoices, and statements to a centralized AP environment. **JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** · Perform timely and accurate indexing of key data fields in or to prepare invoices for processing · Ensure that these transactions are handled in accordance with the relevant accounting policies and procedures · Assist with resolution of vendor inquiries · Assist with coordination of accounts payable transactions and various corporate departments and field operation units · Keep supervisor informed of any activities that may require his/her attention · The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required **Requirements** **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** · High school diploma or equivalent · 1 to 3 years of data entry and accounts payable or accounting related work experience · Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES** · Proficient knowledge of accounts payable concepts and practices · Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office Suite and company computer systems · Able to demonstrate customer service skills in a courteous, professional, and helpful manner · Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing · Able to interact positively and work effectively with others (interpersonal skills) · Able to maintain confidentiality of information · Able to demonstrate problem solving skills · Able to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy · Able to work under general supervision and direction · Must be able to read, write and speak English An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans
