Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Consultant in Chicago, IL. Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments. Key Responsibilities: * Process vendor invoices and employee expense reports in a timely and accurate manner * Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documents * Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies * Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments * Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with company policies * Assist with month-end closing and reporting * Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment issues * Support audits and provide documentation as needed
