Job Description

With a strong and growing pipeline of transport infrastructure throughout Australia and New Zealand, we are expanding our Design Management capability across the region.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary network of specialists across ANZ and globally, working in a culture that values knowledge-sharing, participation and professional growth.

We have multiple opportunities for experienced Design Managers with strong engineering backgrounds and proven delivery experience across any of these business areas. You can be based in any of our key offices including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Perth, Adelaide, Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch.

How you’ll make a difference

Lead the design delivery of complex transport infrastructure projects from concept to IFCCoordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage interfaces across rail, road, bridges and structuresBuild trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders and provide clear communication on progress and risksChampion design governance, safety in design, compliance and digital engineering standardsManage project scope, timeframes, budgets and quality outcomesMentor and grow our next generation of engineers and technical specialists

Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive:

Background in Engineering with experience in rail, road or major transport infrastructure design deliveryTertiary engineering qualifications (CPEng or working towards highly regarded)Strong understanding of design processes, risk management and technical assuranceSkilled in preparing design deliverables and leading quality reviewsConfident communicator who builds strong relationships and enjoys collaborationA proactive problem solver with a positive approach to challenges and change
