The Antibody Production Manager is responsible for leading the in house RabMAb production team and to help our customers achieve their mission. This position reports to the Operational site leader and is part of the in-house manufacturing team located in Waltham MA, USA and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Be a champion for Lean manufacturing and coach members of the team to solve operational problems and create a culture of continuous improvement. Actively drive product improvement and process scale up. + Supervise and coach a team of production scientists and production associates to deliver challenging antibody production targets and uphold health and safety guidelines. + Schedule the team’s time, plan production and communicate production activities to the team. Drive team performance and ensure KPIs are achieved. + Work alongside the other manufacturing team leaders to drive business performance and deliver the production plan. Help shape and communicate team strategy. + Assist with quality control to improve reproducibility. The essential requirements of the job include: + Our ideal candidate will have excellent organizational capabilities and ability to deliver results consistently in a high-standard fast-paced environment, while motivating the team to hit production targets. + Over 5+ years of relevant experience. + Experience working in a manufacturing environment. + Leadership experience with a flexible approach to work. + Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office. + Bachelor degree or above in science or engineering related field. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role + Ability to travel 5 % travel, overnight, within territory or locations It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: + Prior experience with antibodies or protein manufacturing is desirable although not essential as full training will be provided.
