How will you make an impact in this role?
Conduct end-to-end AML investigations, including transaction monitoring alerts, customer activity reviews, and case escalationsPerform Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and periodic reviews in accordance with regulatory requirements Review and analyze suspicious activity and assist the preparation and submission of Suspicious Activity Report to relevant authoritiesMonitor and assess client transactions for potential money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimesMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of investigations and decisionsStay current with evolving AML regulations and typologies, and support implementation of regulatory changesSupport the development/update policies and procedures, training programs, independent monitoring and testing activities, sanctionsSupport the MLRO in AML/CTF reporting towards the Business and Senior Management and with the identification and regulatory assessment of new requirements applicable to the BusinessMinimum Qualifications:
Degree in Law or Economics3-5 years of experience in an AML or Financial Crime Compliance role, preferably within banking, financial services, or FinTechStrong knowledge of AML laws, regulations, and regulatory expectationsExcellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skillsAbility to analyze large volumes of data and identify unusual patterns or behaviorsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsLearner attitude and eye for improvement needsAbility to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a deadline-intensive environmentFluency in Italian and English (both written and verbal), additional languages are an advantageExcellent knowledge of MS Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
