We are looking for an Antenna MGSE Designer.

The antenna department is responsible for design, development, manufacturing, integration, test and delivery of antennas and required mechanisms for spacecraft. The antennas can be designed for different missions: telecommunication, earth observation, navigation, science and exploration.
The resource will be involved in the development of all the MGSE of the Antenna Product Line for a yearly budget of about 3-4 Meuro.

In particular the Resource shall:

Interface with the project manager of each Antenna Project to define the make or buy strategyStudy and define the overall MGSE (H/W & S/W) architecturePrepare MGSE (H/W & S/W) Technical and Procurement Specification and SOW related to Containers, trolley, lifting device, 0 G deployment system, supporting frame (and other specific MGSE) for all the qualification / acceptance test campaignCreate 3d CATIA model for MGSE dedicated to programs and facilities within Space rules and lawsGeneration of 2D parts drawings in CATIAGeneration of 2D assembly drawings in CATIAGeneration of required model for thermal and mechanical analyses inputsFollow the selection of Suppliers working with Purchasing Office, manage all the technical development by external Supplier up to the delivery of MGSE; manage the technical activities of internal / external resources in case of make (typically 5-6)Define and consolidate budget for MGSE procurementRda management and emissionMonitoring of MGSE procurement (Design Reviews and Acceptance Test Reviews) Ensure Availability of MGSE according to AIT scheduleEnsure MGSE /H/W and S/W) Validation on siteSupport CAM and AIT Manager for Cost & Schedule control as applicable for MGSE Procurement

Requirements for the position

High School Diploma (Aeronautical or mechanical specialization) preferred, Mechanical engineering degree (or equivalent) Good knowledge and experience of 3D CAD tools (CATIA preferred) for Mechanical DesignKnowledge of relevant drawing standardKnowledge of Geometric Tolerance best practiceKnowledge of manufacturing techniques (metals and composites) and how these affect design.

Experience of working in a multi-discipline team environment with project pressureExperience within a similar field, automotive or aerospaceExperience with CATIA V5, Femap, Nastran, Patran5 and more years of experience in related field
