Job Description
Completely follow established procedures and protocols with supervision according to required schedules (including off-hours, weekends, and holidays)Recognize, clearly communicate, and document procedural variancesMaintain vivarium equipment, including sanitization, and stocking supplies when appropriateLearn and effectively implement new techniquesObserve performance of and troubleshoot instrumentationComplete all assigned and required trainings prior to deadlinesDemonstrate technical proficiency in animal care and vivarium operations. Demonstrate skill in multiple techniques, as required, to suit the changing needs of research or development sciencesDocumentation of tasks and observations, and adherence to designated task schedules and departmental Standard Operating ProceduresUnderstand and adhere to corporate standards and regulatory requirements regarding code of conduct, safety, appropriate handling of materials, controlled drug and radioactive compounds, GxP compliance, and animal care where applicableUse experience and training to make routine decisions to execute responsibilities
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and one year experience in related techniques, or A.S. or equivalent degree or entry-level certificationPhysical dexterity, visual and auditory acuity, organizational and time management skills, and sensitivity to changes in environmental conditions encountered in task performanceBasic computer skills, including word processing, internet browser navigation, and communication such as email and messagingAble to lift 50 pounds, perform repetitive procedures, and stand or walk for extended periods of timePractical knowledge, including basic calculations, to carry out job function

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time ofthis posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
