**Description** **Specialization:** Anesthesiology **Job Summary:** HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to join the cohesive and supportive team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This Level 1 Trauma Center has proudly been serving Central VA for over 50 years and is committed to providing the highest quality patient care with compassion and leading edge expertise. **Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:** + MD or DO licensure from an accredited institution and ABA board eligibility/certification required. + Must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the state of Virginia prior to employment. + Care Team Model of 9 General Anesthesiologists, 4 CV Anesthesiologists and 29 CRNAs covering 20 sites of service. + Diverse mix of cases including Trauma, Vascular, Thoracic, OB, General, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, GI and Pediatrics. + Annual surgical volume 18,000 cases. 500 labor epidurals on average. + Average work week 40-45 hours in house. + Call shifts are split equally amongst the team: + Primary Night Trauma call is in-house from 6p-7a on weekdays and 7a-7a on Weekends and weekday holidays.
