**Description** **Specialization:** Anesthesiology **Job Summary:** Our hospital-based anesthesia team is seeking a board eligible/certified Anesthesiologist. Valley Anesthesia is an exclusive provider of anesthesia services at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virgina. **Qualified candidates:** + Must be a lawful permanent resident or legal member of the US + Must be board-eligible or board-certified + Ability to obtain a VA medical license, and DEA license + Diverse mix of cases including Trauma (Level II), Vascular, EP, Thoracic, OB, Orthopedics, Urology, General, GYN, and GI ( exception of sick pediatrics, chronic pain, and transplant) + No call after first day of call + Second call every 5th night + Physicians do approximately 30% of their own cases + 21 Anesthesiologists and 48 expereinces CRNA's **Incentive/benefits package:** + 8 weeks of vacation + Excellent base salary plus sign on bonus + Cardiac differential + Comprehensive benefits package with various options for health, life, and financial needs with additional access to wellbeing resources + Excellent retirement and profit sharing package **About LewisGale Medical Center:** + LewisGale Medical Center is a 506-bed fully accredited acute care facility + Serves as LewisGale Regional Health System’s tertiary facility for specialized care + Level II Trauma Center + Accredited Stroke Center + Accredited Chest Pain Center + The LewisGale Regional Health System includes four hospitals, two cancer centers, six outpatient centers, and three stand-alone emergency departments that are committed to providing superior, compassionate care + Our network of hospitals consistently ranks among the top in the nation for clinical outcomes and evidence-based clinical processes.
