Anesthesia Technician I
Northern Light Mercy Hospital Department: Anesthesia Svcs Position is located: Mercy Fore River Work Type: Full Time Hours Per Week: 40.00 Work Schedule: Variable Summary: Assists anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia for surgical and non-surgical procedures. Monitors patient status and provide patient care during surgical treatment. Responsibilities: + Insures a complete setup for anesthesia services in all anesthetizing locations. + Cleans, disinfects, sterilizes all anesthesia equipment. + Assists anesthesia personnel with preparation/placement of IV fluids, regional anesthesia techniques, physiologic monitoring, airway equipment, and anesthesia machine set up/troubleshooting. + Assists with transport of monitored patients. + Seeks opportunities for professional growth and development. + Maintains a safe environment complying with Northern Light Health policies and procedures; reports and directly addresses environmental hazards and violations of patient safety policy and/or protocol when involved or observed. + May perform other duties upon request.
