Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Provides skilled assistance to anesthesiology providers, such as assisting with special procedures, preparing equipment and supplies and providing medications for use by anesthesiologists.

 

Responsibilities

Prepares IV, central lines, and sets up transducers. Assists with rapid infusion of blood products, processes blood specimens, and completes EKG tests.Sets up, primes, and calibrates various equipment. Completes and documents quality checks on various equipment.Assists with special procedures to include, but not limited to, line-placement, fiber optic intubation, hemodilutions, echocardiograms, EEGs and regional anesthesia.
