In fact, people from all over the nation and the world come to Barnes-Jewish for our surgical specialties. **Preferred Qualifications** **Role Purpose** Provides skilled assistance to anesthesiology providers, such as assisting with special procedures, preparing equipment and supplies and providing medications for use by anesthesiologists. **Responsibilities** + Prepares IV, central lines, and sets up transducers. Assists with rapid infusion of blood products, processes blood specimens, and completes EKG tests. + Sets up, primes, and calibrates various equipment.
