Anatomic/Surgical Pathologist - #Faculty
The Department of Pathology of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. The successful candidate will hold an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a medical staff appointment in the Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. The position is responsible for signing out surgical pathology and frozen sections. The ideal candidate would also have a particular area of subspecialty expertise, with priority given to applicants with expertise in breast pathology. The position also involves teaching residents as well as the development of an independent or collaborative research program in clinical, applied or basic research. Salary will be commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Applicants must have an M.D./D.O degree or equivalent and be Board certified, or eligible, in Anatomic or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. The successful candidate must be eligible for a State of Maryland medical license. The ideal candidate would also have a particular area of subspecialty expertise, with priority given to applicants with expertise in breast pathology.
