What this job involves:As an Analytics Specialist on our Sustainability Analytics team, you'll be instrumental in powering data-driven sustainability performance improvements for JLL's global clients. This role sits at the intersection of environmental stewardship and operational excellence, where you'll manage utility and sustainability data that enables organizations to measure, track, and enhance their environmental impact. You'll work with a collaborative global team that delivers analytics and reporting outputs across diverse client portfolios and service lines. Your primary focus will be ensuring accurate, timely processing of utility invoices and data while maintaining rigorous quality standards within agreed Service Level Agreements. Beyond routine data entry and processing, you'll analyze trends, resolve queries, investigate issues, and support critical functions like budget forecasting and utility audits. What your day-to-day will look like:Execute accurate and timely entry of utility invoices within established Service Level Agreements, following documented processes for quality and consistency
Manage and maintain general mailboxes with daily email processing, documentation tracking, and identification of data gaps or missing information
Prepare and distribute system-driven reports to business lines at regular intervals, including process backup reports following data entry completion
Analyze reporting outputs to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that drive actionable sustainability insights for clients
Resolve data queries and issues in a timely manner, tracking user acceptance and supporting investigations to address problems as they arise
Conduct utility audits of site details, meter numbers, account information, and site addresses, coordinating corrections with Utility Bill Processing teams
Review utility payments against established thresholds, processing exceptions and engaging appropriate parties for escalations when needed
Manage Purchase Order setup and implementation, invoice approvals, and Letter of Authorization requests following documented procedures and software protocols
Support budget forecasting activities through data management, accrual methodology review, and coordination with forecasting timelines and requirements
Required qualifications:College degree in Finance, Accounting, Environmental Science, Data Analytics, or related field
1-3 years of experience in a corporate environment, third-party service provider, or consulting role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with client-centric service orientation
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in responding to changing priorities and new ideas
Experience managing large datasets with systematic approach to data quality and integrity
Persistent work ethic with care and caution in job execution and deadline management
Preferred qualifications:Business Intelligence (BI) platform familiarity or experience with analytics visualization tools
Background in finance, accounting, or utility data capture and transaction processing
Knowledge of sustainability metrics, environmental reporting standards, or energy management principles
Experience with budget forecasting, accrual methodologies, or financial data management
Familiarity with Service Level Agreement environments and performance metrics tracking
