As an Analytics Solutions Associate within the JPMorgan Wholesale Payment Operations Data Analytics and Solution team, you will analyze business requirements, design, build, test, and produce executive and operational reporting to support management decisions. You will also perform ad-hoc analysis to meet the needs of all internal business partners leveraging various data sources.
Job responsibilities
Oversee deliverables for the Reporting and Analytics team.Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.Conduct data analytics to support business objectives.Document and package status updates and proposals for senior management.Perform data mining, analytics, and problem solving.Develop and apply algorithms and models, clearly explaining them to Management, Operations, and Technology teams.Collaborate closely with Technology and Operations to develop requirements and implement new capabilities.Engage proactively to mitigate risk through continuous process improvement, root cause analysis, and collaboration with Operations teams.Create presentations for senior executives.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent education/business experience; 5+ years in business system analysis or application design/development. 3+ years of work-related experience with SQL, Python, Alteryx, or similar programming languages; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.Extensive knowledge of database design, relational principles, and large-scale data warehouses; experience with BI tools like Tableau and Business Objects.Good understanding of banking operations, with payment processing experience.Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle processes.Strong written/verbal communication; ability to articulate business requirements, summarize findings, and work effectively with teams and stakeholders.Excellent analytical/problem-solving abilities; proactive, self-motivated, flexible, able to multitask and deliver under pressure, with strong team-working skills.
