Analytics Manager Operations

The Global Procurement COE Sr Analytics Manager will play a highly visible role throughout PPG's Global Procurement department, leading a global team to further ensure and enhance analytics, reporting, and financial planning. The COE standardizes, optimizes, and globalizes processes and data intelligence for the Procurement function. You can work in Pittsburgh or Mexico City and will report to the Manager, Procurement COE working the office Monday through Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting Improvement plans, including Advanced Raw Material Price Forecasting Improvement o Rate Volume Mix Analyses

Forecasts vs Actuals (Price and Savings)

Supply Chain Initiatives

Functional Budget exercises

Change Management

Translating the financial impact of external events (including geopolitical, force majeure events.), commodity movements, inflation deflation etc.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, Engineering or Business-related field of study; an advanced degree such as an MBA in Finance or related field of study is preferred.

At least 5 years of finance oriented related experience in forecasting, budgeting, and planning is required.

Previous job project management is required

Comfortable with coordination of global initiatives and navigating in a matrix organization across time zones and diverse cultures and working styles

Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, ETLs, SQL, Python, etc.
